Biography

Madison was born 3 weeks early and was only 3 days old when she attended her 1st dance competition to watch her big brother compete. She grew up watching dance and started sneaking into classes before the age of 16 months. Finally we allowed her to begin dance training and at the age of 18 months she preformed in her 1st dance recital. By the age of 2 she had already competed in her 1st dance competition and won her division with her 1st solo "I'm Cute."

She went on to compete this solo and even placed 1st runner up for the title of Miss Showbiz and Miss Starpower. The trophies were bigger than she was. Madison was a natural on stage and loved to compete. By the time she reached the age of 3 she was determined to continue following in big brothers footsteps and wanted to act. She, along with her younger brother kept begging to be allowed to act, and so it started.

At the age of three Madison filmed her 1st commercial. She was determined to be as professional as possible, funny for a 3 year old, but Madison was determined. When the shoes they chose were too small, she never even said a word. She simply put them on, danced around as the commercial called for and dealt with the problem. It wasn't until we broke for lunch and I took them off I noticed the blood blisters formed and asked her about them. She simply said "Yes they hurt, but its ok mommy. They liked them the best. I can deal with it." When the director heard he told Madison they could continue shooting without shoes. Madison simply paused and then told him " No, they are important. I can deal with it." This is how Madison has continued to be. She wants to always give her best, no matter what. She never complains and loves working. Even after long hours, she will be found smiling at just the thought of getting to do another take.

At the age of four she landed her 1st pilot where she played a younger version of the lead actress. At the audition she had to sing and dance, something I was worried about since she had a cold, but she of course informed me she would be fine. She was, and when filming she never complained, even though it was cold outside and she was in not much more than a skirt, a tank and a boa. Madison was hooked, and determined to book everything. She pushed herself to read early because she was tired of mom having to help her memorize the lines and she wanted to be able to do it herself.

Madison has always been very independent and determined to do everything RIGHT! Unfortunately she also had a younger brother who was louder and even more outspoken and who often times was on the same auditions. Its one thing to compete for roles against strangers,

but your own family? Madison had to learn at a young age that it wasn't always about knowing your lines the best or being the most outgoing, but that sometimes it was all about a look, or who caught the eye of casting, or being in the right spot at just the right moment. What has always amazed me is how Madison just took the information she learned and used it to help her. She truly loves the business! By the age of 5 she had filmed several commercials as well as many student and short films. At the age of 6 Madison auditioned and landed the role of Young Tonya in a Japenese movie about the life of Tonya Harding. The part called for a child that knew how to ice skate. At the audition they asked her if she could ice skate and she told them "not yet, but I am a dancer, a gymnast and I can roller blade... I KNOW I can skate." They took a chance and Madison proved to be right. We asked a friend who was a competitive skater when young to teach her and within one lesson Madison was skating. Oh and did I mention she wanted to be able to skate and do some tricks? No, simply skating and not falling wasn't good enough for her. She wanted to be able to do some small tricks as well like in dance. Needless to say she learned how to do them. When filming this movie, which took place late at night, Madison did so well skating that they forgot she had not known how the weeks before and were asking her to perform more and more tricks for the camera. Of course she did so with a smile on her face the entire time. Later she told me " see Mommy, I told you I could do it."

Determined and focused seem to be the words that most come to my mind when I think about Madison. She is loves to act. She loves to dance. She loves playing soccer. No matter what it is she tries to do though she always gives it 110% at least. She always wants to do her best. If its cold, she will deal with it. If she is injured but supposed to dance, she will deal with it. No matter what, Madison keeps going and enjoys it! She truely loves what she does and strives to be better each and everytime.
